It aims at raising awareness of Remote and Rural Areas, the challenges they face in the XI century regarding sustainable development and digitalization, as well as the increasing challenge of depopulation of these areas, making it even more difficult to address the societal changes that will be needed over the next few years. The aim is then to create a network among them and, after analyzing the common challenges faced, co-designing and implementing during the local phase Capacity Building activities to promote a shared approach towards a change. The project’s objective aligns with the priorities to promote shared values and active citizenship since, in a connected environment, the population of remote and rural areas won’t feel left out by institutions.

The project aims to reduce the mismatch between training and professional placement in territories with a high rate of youth unemployment. The main objective is to enhance the green skills of young people under 30 and speed up the process of entry into the professional world, bringing them closer to the real needs required by companies engaged in the transition towards climate neutrality. The goal is to create a network of young people and businesses that is reactive, digital, and resilient: a social ecosystem ready to manage the opportunities for change and the fight against climate change on which Europe is betting. Also aims to improve the accessibility and inclusion of specialized training courses in local contexts with a high rate of youth unemployment and offer a valid alternative to a master’s degree which is not affordable for everyone. Another objective of the project is the establishment of a highly replicable transactional cooperation model scalable, leading to an improvement of the internal competencies of the participating organizations through the exchange of know-how with an innovative and digital training format.
